Yes! Stache-it is free to download and use. The free version includes Siri commands, Face ID protection, iCloud sync, and AI smart categories. Stache-it Premium ($1.99 one-time) unlocks nested folders, auto-splitting of spoken lists, and tree-view sharing.

Say "Hey Siri, add to my Stache" to get started. Siri will ask you for a label and a value.
Stache-it saves your data locally on your device and syncs it to your personal iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit. This means your staches are available on all your devices signed into the same Apple ID. We never see or store your data on our servers.
Stache-it uses Face ID (or Touch ID) to lock access to your staches. Biometric data is processed entirely by your device's secure enclave and is never accessible to the app. Your data is stored on-device and in your personal iCloud account — no third-party servers, no tracking, no analytics.
On iOS 26 and later, Stache-it uses Apple's on-device AI (Foundation Models) to automatically sort your staches into categories like People, Finance, Health, Travel, and more. Everything runs on your device — no data is sent anywhere. You can toggle this feature on or off in Settings > AI Features.
Stache-it Premium is a one-time $1.99 purchase that unlocks:
- Nested folders — organize staches in hierarchies up to 10 levels deep
- Auto-split lists — say "apples, bananas, oranges" and they become separate items
- Tree-view sharing — share structured hierarchies with proper indentation
No subscription — pay once, keep it forever.
Yes. You can delete individual staches or all staches at any time within the app. Deleting the app removes all locally stored data. iCloud data can be managed through your device's iCloud settings.
Stache-it requires iOS 18.5 or later. AI Smart Categories require iOS 26 or later. All other features work on iOS 18.5+.
